Following up to my husband's heart attack, he went to his own doctor this morning and was told the hospital gave him the wrong medication. I brought all his meds to the hospital in their original pharmacy packages. The hospital made a mistake and gave him something that his own doctor said was "the exact opposite" of what he normally takes. It would have been terrible if my husband didn't leave ama and continued to take the wrong medicine for days.

My husband had to wait nearly three hours to be seen while having a heart attack. There were two other heart attack patients waiting just as long. They drew blood right away so they knew his cardiac enzymes showed he was having one but it wasn't an emergency in their eyes. They admitted him and scheduled a cardiac Cath for the following morning. 3 hours past his appointment time they told him he wasn't actually scheduled and they would only get him in if somebody else cancelled or died. My sister was taken to the ER yesterday by ambulance. Her symptoms were a fever of over 101, cold sweats, abdominal pain , excessive diarrhea and vomiting. She was upfront and told the absolute truth about her taking a medication called Seboxcin. The front end charge nurse Shannon is pure evil. She doesn't care at all. She has horrendous bedside manner. She should be fired!!
