My son was brutally attacked by staff and held down against his will and is now in a sling because he refused to get pricked with a needle. Violated every HIPAA law known, horrible place. Never go here for real help place needs to be shut down.
If I could do 0 I would but a 1 will do.. There was some staff line Eric, Paola, and another therapist that does groups Mon-Fri at 10 who were great. A nurse named Ezri or something like that she was amazing and a few other nurses. There were a lot of staff especially night staff that were VERY rude, seemed annoyed by patients… just awful attitude. I was 14 when I was admitted and I had attempted. While I was there I made sure the staff knew that I have a undiagnosed medical condition that makes me have dizzy spells and makes me pass out alot, one night I felt like I was going to pass out and told a night staff, instead of having me sit down, giving me food, or doing literally anything she grabbed me by my arm so hard that it bruised and dragged me to my room and threw me on my bed. I have been inpatient at Community Behavioral Health more times that I would like. I have NEVER received treatment that actually made a difference. Please avoid this place!
It was such a nice, welcoming community in a very hard time for me. All of the patients uplifted each other with the staff, and it was a nice change of pace to see everyone actually trying to get better and working towards a common goal. This was my first time in the adult ward, and it's a huge change from the adolescent ward. The people wanted to actually be there to get help and wanted to get better, which made an incredibly positive environment.
