When you have been to Community Hospital, there is no place else for you. I am not sure about everyone else, but I appreciate excellence.
We were there for my son's surgery on his leg to repair a torn ligament and to put in a plate. Surgery started a little late due to a back up in the surgical room but the nursing staff did a wonderful job of keeping us informed. Dr Bookatz was very informative and calming which made us feel comfortable about the procedure. After a long day we were discharged and felt like he was well on his way to making a full recovery.
My doctor at the hospital Dr.Marcus was great. Nursing staff wasn't so good on the midnight shift. Took hours to get them to do anything. If it wasn't for my doctor being there I would never go back to this hospital. Used to be the best around sadly not anymore. I was on the 4th floor 421 and the midnight nurse Tanya was the problem. Such a shame.
My èx was waiting in er for a room in the waiting rooms on the 1st floor! ! Someone stole his black bag. Security was no help or lost and found!! Very disappointed.....
