Yet again, I have been calling and leaving voicemails for over a month and NOBODY will return or answer so I can make an appointment for my kid. They force you to drive out to them which is such an inconvenient when you are 30 mins away. I prefer this location however making appointments is absolutely ridiculously hard for no reason!!
This place stinks!! It is not the paper mill across the road. Possibly sewer issues. I asked the front desk if I could wait in my car and receive a phone call and was told absolutely not. Very rude lady at dental front desk named Tammie.
Always friendly staff, quick responding, And the amazing Doctor Mrs. Howell! We love her, she is superb with bed side manner, listening, concerned when needed, knowledgeable, explains everything well so I understand and all around great with my children.
This dentist requires an insane amount of visits, first an exam where they literally just look at teeth, then schedule you another 3-4 months out for the cleaning, then if any other problems, take weeks to refer you out and waiting another 2-4 months. We were told both of our kids had cavities, we were referred to SANDESTIN and they told us neither kid have a cavity. Our most recent appointment for 12/26, they called today and our appointment was cancelled and the closest appointment they had was April.
My friend has a 17 year old son with severe Autism and it's always a job when she has to take him to a doctor or a dentist. He had an appointment with Dr Newman for an emergency dental issue and I went with her to help keep an eye on him. Dr Newman and Derrick were very understanding and extremely professional and went out of their way to make Blake feel safe and of course to take care of his dental needs. I was elated to see how much they care about their patients. Thanks Dr Newman and Derrick!
