I live in another state. I came into the store on one of my visits to Little Rock and ordered a birthday cake for my 93 year old father-in-law on August 20, 2018, with instruction that it needed to be picked up on September 22. 2018 @ 10 a.m.. Well, I went in to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. I had four people come ask me what name it was under and what phone number. They serve one of my favorites which is the bread pudding. I also enjoy the avocado melt.... but I’ve had the WORST over the phone customer service experience there. They are so rude and unprofessional. Poor customer service spreads fast and isn’t a good look.
This place is one of my favorite stops in the morning or afternoon when I’m looking for a quick coffee and sweet snack. Breakfast is also always good. I love the casual everyone-is-welcome atmosphere. You’ll see people in a hurry, people reading the paper, and people working on their laptops. There is outdoor seating, indoor tables and comfy chairs. Community Bakery has been a cornerstone of the SoMa district for decades and I’m so glad they’re here.
