First time every going the experience was awesome from the nurses to the doctor. Thanks for all your help
My teen had a 9:00 appointment with Dr. Diehl this morning. I figured that early in the day, we'd be seen on time--or at least close to it. Boy, was I wrong. We weren't taken back to an exam room until 9:15 - 9:20. Shawna (who was very nice) performed part of the exam, then said the doctor would be in shortly. This was before 10:00. At 10:20 we walked out. Doctors give patients very little leeway when it comes to being late, so I think it's incredibly rude that they seem to think they can keep us waiting indefinitely. I had my second cataract surgery Thurs Nov 17. The first one was Nov 3. My experience was absolutely wonderful. Dr Michael and his staff were awesome and very professional. My vision is now 20/20 and the fact that I will never have to wear glasses or contacts again makes me very happy. I'll be using reading glasses into my senior years. But what a change!! I can see clearly now!! Thank you Dr Michael and your staff. It was a great experience!! ��
I had the displeasure of being referred to Dr. Michael. While I'm sure he's competent at his job I found him to be EXTREMELY dismissive, sarcastic and rude. I would expect someone in his profession knowing folks may have some anxiety about having their eyes probed to be more empathetic and kind. I found his bedside manner unbearable and will gladly take my eye care needs elsewhere. I also waited an unusually long time before I was seen and insulted.
Dr. Joe Iuorno with Commonwealth Eye Care did my cataract surgery and rhe results of 1st eye were remarkable. I had the 2nd eye done today and look forward to 20/20 vision and the ability to enjoy water sports again with clear vision above and below the water line! No more lost golf balls in the rough! His surgical team are all wonderful!
Thanks to the doctor I was referred to because "he's the best" for cataract surgery. Thanks to Dr. Shaun Hobbs for excellent follow up and a great report today. Thanks to the office associates and staff who were really nice to me. And to those behind the "windows" who made me feel like I'm an imposition, or invisible...it's too obvious.
Everyone is so nice. The care is very efficient. Never a long wait. Started with Dr. Michaels, then switched to Dr. Flowers. She wears the cutest earrings and did a great job on my cataracts!
