Not sure whats going on with my mortgage payments. The last payment Common Bond shows received from my Bill Pay was Dec 26/ 2025 . I seen were the money was transferred from my account in January and February. Common Bond said they never received payments but Bill Pay said they show were both checks was received by there P. O Box in Birmingham. So now I have to stop payment on 2 checks sent by Bill Pay at my expense. I might can see one check being lost but Two 🤔
I went into Common Bond today because I needed to have an insurance check co-signed by someone in the office. I was connected with a Stephen Smith. He was a bit rude on our second phone conversation, but I placed his initial rudeness in the back of my mind. After meeting with him, 15 minutes after our call, we greeted each other and I gave him my paperwork as we took the elevator upstairs. I've never had an issue with Common Bond. I wish my loan was still escrowed, but that's the only reason I've had to "dislike" my service with them.
Go elsewhere. This used to be a good group. It is good no longer. Something happened...something bad. 🤷 Go elsewhere. In response to their syrupy "oh tell us how we can fix this" post-->too late. Part of the reason I sold my house was so I would NEVER have to try to get a problem solved with y'all again. Like I said, these people used to be ok. But something terrible happened to them and they are definitely not ok now. Walk on by.
