BEDBUGS! Disgusting rooms. STAY FAR FAR AWAY! This hotel is gross and one of the worst managed hotels I’ve ever stayed at. One of our coworkers got bitten by bedbugs and his room had bedbugs. We left and it took several days of going back and back to secure our refunds. There system is always down and the manager is never in. My room wasn't a room so much as a combination of a crime scene and a hostage situation. They couldn't manage to give me a key that worked, and they were fully booked. So the front desk clerk let me into my room, and I was stuck there the whole night because I had no way I could get in or out on my own. She berated me because I was in tears about the situation. Then I found dried feces or blood in the bathroom. The health department should shut this place down for good.
I booked this Comfort Suites room a month in advance, but my stay has been incredibly frustrating. Upon arrival, I was assigned to the 3rd floor. All night, the smoke alarm incessantly beeped, disrupting my sleep. The next morning, I reported the issue to the front desk. – Do Not Stay at Comfort Suites Alexandria, LA** I booked a room with two queen beds specifically for three adults through the Expedia.com website. When we arrived, they put us in a room with only one king bed. After we complained, they “fixed” it by moving us to another room. That should have been the end of the problems. It wasn’t.
