The technician evidently loosened the pipes & fitting at the joints when a new thermocouple was installed, a $10-$15 part that I was charged $199 fee for the installation of, which caused a natural gas leak after the visit to which People’s Gas had to come out to find where the gas was emanating from, located it and completely disconnected the gas to the boiler and shut the boiler down completely!!! Very disappointed ☹️
The technician they sent had a negative attitude and acted like he was doing me a favor giving me the UNHEARD OF, his words, special of $59 for the furnace service. Also they charge a RIDICULOUS $50 to change a humidifier filter, a job I did in 2 minutes. Between the poor attitude of the technician, him being late, and the policy to charge $50 for humidifier filter replacements even if I have a service contract, I recommend you go elsewhere. This company is too big, bloated, and haughty to care about customer care.

Not a good first impression...our service person was supposed to show up between 10-12...but by 1215 no one had called or shown up. I called to change the appointment to the next day, which was available. The service window for the new appointment was 8-10am. At exactly 10am someone called to inform me that the technician was on his way and would be to my house within 15 mins, which he was. He took 20 minutes to look at our boiler and tell me he wouldn’t put any money into it and and wanted to get a sales person out to our h... read more
