I don’t recommend renting from them I rented from them for 12 years They only fixed the water heater once in all that time and didn’t pay me back for fixing everything No I have to sue them and go through all the hassle. I had to fix everything and pay myself. Dishwasher, 3 garbage disposals, built in microwave to cupboard, toilets had to replace the inside gaskets to keep from leaking, bathroom fan, 2 sink sprayers. Working with Hayley and Comet Realty was such a positive experience from the start! After seeing a studio I wasn't really interested in, Hayley kept me in mind for a 1-bedroom that would be ready in the next month. It was the perfect little place for me and my Golden with the best neighbors. Hayley really cared and was a wonderful property manager over the 4 years I lived there. She is approachable, friendly and helpful.
Hayley Townley and the whole group at Comet Realty were great property managers. If I ever had a maintenance request (which was rarely) they were completed in less than a day or a day at most by extremely competent and helpful people. They were always helpful, and are great to their tenants. Moving back to the slo area I wouldn’t go through any other group to find a home, rented or bought.
After renting two units over the years from Comet, saving a few Pennys we Just closed escrow, after a lot of sleepless nights and many negotiations, my family has a home to call our own! Travis was a superstar from the beginning searches to pizza the first night in the home, along with a couple early morning calls before the rest of the world was up and about ( the man answered my non sensical calls before 7 am !) A+ and I wish I could give Travis and Comet a 6th star#fromcometrentertohomeowner
Travis is hands down THE BEST to work with. Him and the team at Comet Reality worked endlessly to make it happen and today we closed on our first home. I absolutely would refer him to anyone looking to buy or sell their property. Thank you so much Travis!
