About this business
This 1883 Victorian home, with its impressive white columns, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While Columns Hotel may not be the most modern of hotels, it is full of a charm that can only be found in the Big Easy. It was designed by Thomas Sully, a great architect of New Orleans. The hotel is also the only surviving building out of many that he designed.

RecommendedA nice outdoor bar on the Avenue walking distance from our house. Casual and relaxed, but I would like to see an oaked California Chardonnay by the glass. They have a white South African blend, but it’s a little light for me. Limited menu during the day. Looked for a dinner menu on their website, but could not find one.

Went by for after dinner drink. Manager woman was having a meeting with 2 wait staff persons. They were on the veranda as we walked up. Manager drop many profanities including F bomb while telling wait staff they need to sell more food. The 5 of us were the only seated table outside. She still didn’t take the rant inside. BTW...Quickbooks & who to trust is an issue...RIDICULOUS!
Best for after you get engaged and for peeing on Mardi Gras.
