This place is very nice with a helpful staff that is open to sharing the history of this grand hotel. This had a nice atmosphere where you can feel like you have your own place to sleep and rest. You are right on the Main Street with easy access to unique shops like books and vinyl records. Near good places to have tea and coffee. Nice restaurants across the way. Highly recommend and will be staying here again.
We stayed in room 26 with our own private bathroom. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming. We felt cared for and enjoyed our stay.
Lovely “staycation” place for us in the winter. Incredible staff, clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable room and Noble Coffee in the morning. What more can you ask for?
Very nice staff and comfortable hotel. I have never stayed at a "European style" hotel. The whole shared bathroom thing actually worked out pretty well. There was a sink in our room so you can get ready in the morning. The staff was very accommodating and had good recommendations for lunch and dinner options. The location is excellent, it is a quick walk to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and lots of local shops.
Stayed here in single room 10 yrs ago & stayed with a friend in double room with claw-foot tub this time. Large, beautiful room, 2 beds can sleep 3. Street view with lots of light but not noisy. Beautiful vintage furnishings. Fresh flowers a nice touch, as is 24/hr coffee & tea in redecorated lobby/lounge area. Only drawback was bathtub didn't have shower fittings. Definitely planning to stay here on next trip.
