Dr. Luthra and Columbia Eye Associates get FIVE STARS for the cataract with lens implant surgery. I was anxious at first, but Dr. Luthra answered all my questions and concerns. The staff and facility at Friendship Surgery Center also get FIVE STARS. I am 77 and can now see clearly. I don’t even need reading glasses. Thank you, Dr. Luthra.
Don’t get an annual eye exam here! Despite advertising on their website that they do routine eye exams, they do not bill it with insurance as such, and I was stuck with a $200 bill despite their site saying they accepted my insurance AND that they do routine eye exams. They claim this info is buried in the fine print, but I feel extremely misled. I've worn glasses for nearly 60 years. Today, I have 20/20 vision thanks to Dr. Luthra. He and his staff are excellent!
Amazing experience. My anxiety was 1000 when I visited as I was scared regarding the outcome of my visit. Dr. Luthra made me feel so comfortable, and all the anxiety disappeared. He was very caring and listened to all of my concerns. It was a great visit, and I will be following up. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was very friendly.
