I've been wary of the dentist since I was little and had a dentist pull one of my teeth and drop it in my mouth. Thanks to my skills, I was able to catch it with my tongue and avoid sure and sudden choking by tooth. Since then, and due to lack of insurance, I've avoided the dentist like the plague (pick one). First of all, I'm TERRIFIED of dentists. The staff at Colorado Dental Group though, made me feel right at home. We were given a tour of the facility which is actually stunning, and made to feel comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. I came in because a tooth I had needed to be crowned. Very face and very little pain.
I've never had much of a problem going to the dentist, yet it's been a couple years since I've gone. Every person I talked to at the practice was professional, courteous and helpful. The dentist himself was conservative, which is a higly desirable quality! I had delayed going back to the dentist in part because I didn't want someone telling me I needed a lot of work that I don't actually need.
