I've been training w Rich for 2 and a half years now. He's great instructor w tons of knowledge and experience. Very well rounded w judo, kickboxing, wrestling and bjj.
This is a great place to come and learn with others. Rich is a great guy and has some good assistant instructors who teach certain classes. The people that go there are top notch and everyone works together to help each other improve.
If I didn't love my Academy I'm at I'd definitely train here. Great group of people who pressure you just enough to be the best version of yourself. I try to visit once a week. Professor Richard Hess is a legit BJJ Black Belt and has been instructing martial arts almost his entire life.
For me, the best Brazilian Jiujitsu gym in Colorado. Coach Hess teaches at a very high standard, is friendly and a great guy. The environment is unbelievable. Everybody I met and/or rolled with made it their job not only to help me but make sure I only fell more in love with BJJ. Would give it 6 stars if I could.
