The complex itself, especially in the back is very well kept. We have amazing neighbors that have become friends. We all watch out for each other. The only thing i don't like is management can be rude and things that need fixed stay broken for months at a time. Other than that, you can't beat the area, the large floorplans and the price. Ive been here 8 years and for the most part, have had a great experience here.

Colony Oaks is SEVERELY infested with BED BUGS. Bed Bugs take months to get under control and the management at the office is keeping it silent and not letting residents know!!! The worthless management at the office has stated they know the source of the BED BUGS but have done nothing to remediate it!!! They refuse to change carpet when they caused the infestation in neighboring apartments by their ineptitude, abuse of tenants, insolence, and outright stupidness. My roommate and I moved into a rennovated, first floor unit at Colony Oaks a few months ago. The remodeled 2 bedroom units are very nice for the price and are quite spacious! The reason I’m giving two stars is for the fact that I like the unit itself and because of the old money landscaping that is very pretty. PLEASE do not rent from colony oaks. they are absolutely Riddled with bed bugs. my husband and I lost everything. had to pack up personal belongings and leave everything else behind. I pray no one else has to go through this. also, our house stated 85-95 degrees. second floor. it was so hot we couldn't stay there. they sent a man who couldn't speak English over several times to fix the air. but he obviously wasn't hvac certified because it never got fixed.
The grounds are beautiful and the staff are professional and friendly!
