Great place to learn, try new firearms and compete!
I am very new to the sport and was hesitant when a friend suggested we go target shooting. From the moment we walked into Colonial everyone was warm and welcoming. They were quick to explain safety and basic shooting techniques to put me at ease. I was quick to catch "gun fever" and have purchased two pistols from them as well. Had a great time. It was four of us waiting and the staff opened up the 3rd range for us we ended up with three lanes side by side.
Colonial Shooting Academy is an excellent place to take the family to learn about firearm safety and enjoy the shooting sports. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I am a NRA certified instructor and competitive shooter for the Army Reserve and I am very impressed with their set up. Outstanding! I live in Louisa and became a member, driving over 50 miles each way to come to their range. Check out their sister store in VA Beach as well.
