Rental Agency slow on work orders Renting from Colonial so far has been a mild nightmare. Whenever a work order needs to be done, you must call back more then once to check on why nobody has showed up. I am sure for the property owner this is fine but when you are a renter, you cant wait 2 weeks to be contacted on some work orders. The office staff needs to communicate more so that the renters are happy. I for one will not continue my lease past the first year.
TREC needs to investigate this unethical business practice. If you go to Googles review you’ll find they have a fake 3.2 star average. Scroll down the Google reviews especially a year ago, and oddly enough over 90% of all 5 star reviews are from an anonymous user “a google user”, while all 1 star reviews have the people’s name showing (not one negative “a google user” review) Why is it that no other rental company in the area has any reviews from “a google user” positive or negative? If I could leave no stars I would don't even waste your time with this sorry excuse of a company. Charging me 1693.33 for preexisting crap.

Worst experience ever! They managed my property(or attempted to) for a little over a year. Repairs weren't made in a timely manner, funds were mismanaged and the entire staff lacks professionalism! Keep your distance from Colonial Residential Properties!!!
Horrible Business Management Skills – While we rented with this company we didn't have too many problems with the house but when we did we would have to call and call over in order get something done. I had to stay on top of them to get it done. THEN when it came to moving out, I am truly surprised. I moved to another state and called down to see how the inspection went and if any charges would be taken from our security deposit.
