We paid for this parking on the ParkWhiz app. When we got there, no security or attendant available for questions about their signs, which are very confusing (residential vs. nonresidential). The elevators were not working whatsoever, and we had to go up four flights of stairs, disturbing a homeless man who was sleeping there. We felt very unsafe overall. Too expensive. Find better parking.

This summer when attempting to park in this Colonial garage, my van sustained notable damage because of the active construction taking place in the garage. Though I submitted a damage claim, and staff told me of 20 other damage claims to vehicles and showed them to me, I have not received resolution of this damage. My van door was smashed in by their construction and must be completely replace. Park in a Colonial garage at your own risk. I hope Colonial will resolve this claim, but they have yet to do so...

Cons: parts are under construction and it feels quite messy down there. Passageways and parking spots are tight for larger cars. Exits for people were hard to find. We walked up odd dirty concrete stairways and somehow found our way out. The elevator nearest us was just for residents with a key card. Pros: cheap daily parking on Saturday. Close to Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, and all the restaurants and sights in the area.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!!!!! Filthy and elevators do not work. I’m wondering how those with disabilities can park here when none of the elevators work and the stairs REEK of urine.
