This place is wonderful. The manager, Melissa Buckner, assistant manager Cleo, and the maintenance team are great at keeping the property clean and working with residents. They've made the property very family friendly, and I haven't had any problems in the year and a half of living on the property. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to live that's run by great people.
A very unfortunate series of events has led us to absolutely hating this place. We chose MAA Wells Branch as a long-term home (3–5 years), paying a premium price for a quieter, third-floor 3-bedroom in the back of the complex. Because of timing, we had to move in the same day the unit became available. Our walkthrough that day revealed the unit immediately smelled of cigarettes. I reported it, but the Property Manager, Courtnie K., insisted their walkthrough was fine and placed a few air fresheners. Even our movers commented... read more
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My husband and I have endured ongoing harassment from a neighbor, including slurs and derogatory remarks. Despite multiple reports and evidence provided, management has done nothing to address the situation. This has made living here extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. If you’re a minority or value a respectful environment, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
EDIT: Updating from 5 stars to 1, I'd give ZERO if I could. I guess when things seem to good to be true, it's correct. This place DID seem like such an amazing place. But after having a HUGE roach issue and putting in our 60 day termination because of the ROACHES being in our oven and food pantry, we found out from a tenant that's been here 5+ years that the previous two tenants that occupied our current unit left for the EXACT same issue of ROACHES in their oven.. So it seems they made a FANTASTIC effort to suppress the ROA... read more
