My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite before a meeting. I had the vegan 3 bean chili special and he had the chef’s seafood sampler special. Two great meals and great service from Judy M.

I went there yesterday for breakfast, like I do every few weeks or so with my grandmother. They food was great but honestly it was our server Kristin that made me want to write this review! She was attentive and fun and I made a throw away comment about my birthday being today, she heard me and had the staff sing me happy birthday, cake and all! Stopped in today for lunch back room half empty and sat for 15 minutes without a waitress coming up and asking can I get you something to drink. This is the Second time in a month this has happened both times in the back. Even if you are busy you can still say be with you in a moment sorry we are really backed up. Love the food but the service is horrible
Diner was very good but what made and excellent experience was Mathew our waiter.
From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Was waited on by Kristen. She was very attentive, being aware of any need any of her customers had. So very friendly. I had the French Toast. It was tasty and the bacon, which was good (but I should have asked for extra crispy). My pineapple juice was cold (something the former Colonial never had) and my coffee cup was never empty. I hope to go back soon.
