Got the Garlic Pesto Shrimp & Asparagus with Penne and the Manhattan Clam Chowder for a starter. Very impressed with the quality of presentation and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. Deserts were also very good- I had the rice pudding and it was delicious. Definitely would like to visit again.
The vegan food I had while there was absolutely delicious!!! I have lentil soup, green goddess tofu and avocado salad, and German Chocolate cake! All vegan and so yummy and filling!!!!
Had an awesome dinner, first time here. Our waiter Patrick was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and provided excellent service.
RecommendedHad a wonderful dinner and time with friends last Saturday night! Matt was an amazing waiter! Loved the menu and vegetarian and vegan options. My husband and I returned tonight and had another yummy meal! He loved the chopped steak dinner. Our server, Elenor, was very friendly and attentive! The Colonial is our new favorite diner!

I really had a very pleasant experience today at Colonial diner. Our server name wasvMatt. He handled our table with great customer service and the food was excellent.
Met 10 friends for dinner and we were seated quickly. EXCELLENT / friendly service from Matt throughout the evening. Varied menu included vegan options. Food was excellent and the portions were large. Can't get better then this! �

Stayed in a hotel nearby and had breakfast there both days last weekend. This place is everything a diner should be: clean, fast seating, fast service, large menu, huge portions, delicious food and a top-notch wait staff. Not sure what else I could say!
