Great restaurant! The fried chicken is the best. I've eaten Ron's Roost, The Eagle and Hitching Post and I have to say the Colonial Cottage has the best fried chicken. Light, juicy, flavorful. You won't be disappointed. My lunch companion had the fried chicken livers and they are really good too. Perfectly cooked, not rubbery. Wednesday is free cookie day. I have eaten there for 20 years. The food has always been excellent. The staff is always pleasant as are the owners. When you walk through those doors it's like being at home.
Great biscuits and gravy. Always fast service. I've been going since I was a kid.
I love this place! The people are friendly the prices are great and they make the prettiest over easy eggs I have ever seen. I challenge anyone to make a better one. White with not even a speck on them. Everytime! So family friendly! Love it!

Have breakfast every Wednesday. No matter what we get it is always good. We enjoy eating there. The service is always great. But if you want to keep your coffee cup full and piping hot, our suggestion is Ed :) Does a Fantastic Job.
I have rented the Banquet Room at the Colonial Cottage several times. I have had a Business Meeting, Rehearsal Dinner, and my latest, a surprise Birthday Party. When it comes to atmosphere and menu planning, Charmaine always makes it the easiest thing I do! She is very patient with my many questions and requests. She then excellently coordinates the event for maximum success. The food and service has been Awesome every visit! No matter the event, this is the place for you!
