I wish I could say I loved El Colombino. Sadly their service and some drinks are horrendous. I have tried going at least 15-20 times in hopes it’s going to get better as it is really cute, in such a great location, with a lot of seating, but I am sadly always let down. They sometimes only have 1 person working which makes it so slow. One instance I waited in line for a solid 13 minutes (I timed it as I was the second person in line) I got to the register, finally, and they were out of not only chai, but matcha as well. Spent a couple days in Pittsburgh and this was the closest coffee shop to our Airbnb. Since my husband and I have traveled to Colombia multiple times, we were excited to try it- & it did not disappoint! He loved the arepa so much he insisted I go back the next morning to get another one. We both loved the coffee, excellent quality and true to Colombia. We had the brewed coffee & espresso. Both were incredible! Highly recommend!
Stopped here after a stay in the Villagio, across the street! The barista was friendly, made recommendations! The food (arepas) were delicious! I had a veggies, and my husband had a Colombian!
