This company called asking where my son lives and works. The son who answered asked for her name and company. She wouldn't answer. I used caller ID to call back to find out who is asking for personal information without identifying themselves. The woman refused to say what the company is or why she wants the information and hung up on me. Colltech is an unscrupulous debt collection agency. Collection agents employed by Colltech have a history of harassing and threatening consumers with legal action on old and unconfirmed medical debt. Do not engage with this company. The collection agents are uncouth and employ deceptive tactics to recover "zombie debt." Very helpful staff – I had some medical bills that I let go. They ended up in collections. I got a call from a representative from Colltech and they were very helpful. They set me up on a temporary payment plan till I could get my finances in order and pay them in full. It was easy. I would really recommend that if you get a call from a collection rep that you work with them. In my experience if you try to hide from it it just gets worse. VERY BAD COMPANY – I had paid my bill but they are still contacting me threatening legal action, I sent proof it had been paid, however they didn't want to here it they wanted me to pay again and then I would get reimbursed later.....BULLS*&T. This company does not need to be in business or they need to learn some manners.

Kept Contacting Me After Bill Had Been Paid Months Ago – I paid a bill literally months ago. When I called to ask about the matter they said they don't receive updates on accounts when the matter is in pre-collection. Translated, this means they don't even talk to the clients before the matter must be resolved. When I called I told them that I had contacted the debtor, and had the issue resolved. Terrible!!! – I received a phone call from a collection staff. She was rude and didn't want to tell me her name. Before I answered any of her questions, I demanded to know her name. She says her last name is Sharp. Okay. I tried to reach a payment agreement, but, she was all one sided. She wanted me to pay the balance in full... That was the second call from Collech. Bordering on Illegal Collection Practices – I also received a medical bill from them claiming I owed 4x the amount. Mary Ann is the most disrepectful human I have talked to in years. She even hung up on me as I asked her if her company actually owned my debt. (My first clue to call the Attorney Generals office). They are not honest or helpful. Refuse to deal with them.
