Our particular experience with this company seems alarmingly similar to everyone down the row: a particular employee at this "company" is the property manager for my community. More recent eexperience on a Friday late afternoon being informed of a water leak coming from my unit and telling me to get it taken care of.. They didn't share the contact information of the individual that reported the leak so I had went. door to door to locate the unit incurring water damage. Turned out it wasn't coming from my unit and I immediately notified the office via answering service to inform them that they contacted the wrong Unit/Resident. Have sent multiple emails seeking clarity on whether our HOA was reimbursed for damages to the irrigation system caused by a utility contractor that have been ignored. Collins & Associates authorized the payment for the irrigation repairs, but refuses to respond to whether the homeowners association was reimbursed for the damages.
I have had very little interaction with Collins & Ass but the few times I have called they have not been attentive to my needs as a property owner. They have not returned calls and have not replied to emails.
Collins and Associates is the worst when it comes to managing HOA’s. Our fees are going up every year and they always use the excuse of inflation. Why is it then that other nearby neighborhoods with pools, playground and walking paths pay half of what we pay. Inflation affects everyone. They have regular meetings and get detailed information on the costs of managing the HOA. All we have is a pool. In the last five years, we have had 1 meeting. I hate having to even give them one star.
