I've had 3 Achilles tendon surgeries with Dr. Collet and had excellent outcomes. Recently, he referred me to an orthopedic surgeon for a more complicated surgery and stayed in the loop until the day of my surgery. I found I appreciated Dr. Collet even more 10 weeks after the surgery when I was still having pain on the side of my heal. Due to my medical issues, he gave me answers about my swelling. Gave me good tips for proper shoes and ortho items.
What a jerk! He came in and didn't even introduce himself, then without even reviewing my medical history or asking me he immediately made assumptions about my heel pain being simply due to my choice in footwear (tennis shoes??) without considering what shoes(boots) I have to wear for work and the amount of time I spend on me feet. Then dismissed my issue/pain because I've only been feeling it for the last half of year when "I've had patient's dealing with this for years!" I won't be going back!

DR. COLLET JR...... THIS DOCTOR DIDN'T EVEN SPEND MORE THAN 5 MIN WITH ME. I HAVE HAD MAJOR SURGERY ON MY FEET YEARS AGO HE NEVER ASKED ANYTHING ABOUT IT EVEN AFTER I TOLD HIM HE JUST BRUSHED IT OFF. NEVER ASKED IF I WAS HAVING ANY OTHER PAIN IN MY FEET. HIS ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM WAS 1. SURGERY OFF 1 MONTH OF WORK..NEVER SAID ANYTHING ELSE VERY BLUNT NEVER EVEN TOLD ME WHAT WOULD BE INVOLVED. 2. BUY A NEW PAIR OF SHOES.... HE IS A HORRIBLE DR. AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMENED HIM TO ANY ONE.
The doctor's website and contact information were helpful and beneficial. I couldn't have asked for any more from any doctor. I had an injury with possible fracture. If you want the best, streamlined medical care....Dr. C is the best you can ask for! Thanks, doc! You're the best! S
