I’m a brand new student. I can not believe how unorganized the administration is. Purchasing used books is helpful as they are outrageously overpriced. I went through the book.nv and purchased a used book. Mind you I’m not looking for perfection. However, I do expect it to be in decent condition. After paying over $50 this is how it came to me today. I sent an email explaining how this is unacceptable and they need to either refund me my money or exchange for a better used book that isn’t falling off the binding. What a joke... read more
College of southern Nevada is the worst school and I didn’t even attend due to medical issues and now they won’t give me my transcript for classes I never had there just money hungry

My fathers been in the hospital for the last three months dying of stage five kidney failure I will schedule for classes and could not make it CSN refuses to reschedule or refund my money

More organized administration. Better process for students so learning is the top priority -- NOT paperwork to each and every separate department. The school should be better at this! AND, an assigned student advocate that has time to work with a student. In my case, returning after 20 years from Arizona (which has a MUCH better system). I could go on, but this is a start...
Although I have not attended this institution, I would not recommend it until the school addresses the issue of a Human Behavior professor, Fred Conquest, condoning the murder of legislatures and their families in his public social media comments.
As a recent graduate (Spring 2019) from the Nursing Program, I am extremely frustrated that two weeks after graduation our grad status has not been updated by the Nursing Dept. even though we are supposed to be a “high priority” so that we can take our NCLEX state exam on a timely basis so that we can apply for jobs. UNLV students were already able to take their state exam because their school took care of them.
