Niece was recently admitted there . Was physically assaulted within 22 hours of arriving there. No staff were in attendance in tv room when they should have been. She was sent to hospital.
Terrible hospital. My girlfriend was admitted there and right off the bat had problems with the staff. they harassed her like middle-school children, poked fun at her, and one of the night-shift staff had intercourse with her. He was fired as he should have been, but I had to call and complain before they did anything. they treat their patients like they know nothing. No respect. Totally unsafe. Never admit yourself or a family member there for psychiatric care. It would be a dire mistake.
Horrible hospital. My girlfriend was recently staying at the L.A. Metro hospital, Hawthorne campus, and was constantly badgered and mistreated by the staff. One incident was a night staff had intercourse with her. He was, of course, fired, but the other staff member constantly badgered her about it until she hurt herself.
