My daughter was admitted to College Hospital from the ER under a 5150 Danger to Self. During her stay she was also detoxing from heroine. We visited every day for a week. The staff was great! Nurses in 3 North were amazing! They were very kind, friendly, understanding, and supportive! I was even allowed to bring my daughter a sealed party tray of fruit she was desperately craving. My son needs treatment and unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable keeping him here so I'm at home (missing work) caring for him because after spending 2 nights there he was covered in bed bugs and not moved until I said something about it. How can they still be open if they don't get rid of bed bugs before putting someone in a bed. I can't wrap my head around this.
