Dr Collard is an excellent surgeon. When I first met with Dr Collard, he let me know the status of my knee, his recommendation and gave me time to come to terms with surgery. After coming to terms with surgery, all went well. I had a total knee replacement on Nov 20 and now I am back to almost all of my activities. My knee is no longer the first and last thing on my mind during the day.
Finding a great surgeon can be a really scary process. Luckily for my husband I did research for my own surgery and was so happy to recommend Dr. Collard to him. So far we couldn't be happier. It may be a little premature, less than 24 hours post op, but loving the results thus far, and loving the care Dr. Collard provides. Top-notch surgeon.
Dr. Collard was my doctor who took care of me [Doris Ennis ] I had a Tibial Plateau Fracture and torn Midiscus of my left knee .He is the best surgeon that I have ever had and I have had quite a few .He made me feel so at ease and had a calming effect on me .My Surgery was a great success and I would refer him to anyone with knee or shoulder problem. He was never in a hurry when I went to see him on follow up visits. He explained everything on each visit I had with him. Thank You Dr. Collard !!!
Dr. Collard correctly diagnosed my torn labrum in my left hip by doing a MRI. He scheduled me for surgery, answered all of my questions, and gave me excellent care. I am very satisfied with my experience and I would recommend him to family and friends..
Dr. Collard replaced both of my hips, 1 in March and 1 in June of 2017. Both surgeries went flawlessly, and Dr. Collard was great both during pre op helping me understand the procedure and post op explaining how to recover and maintain my new hips. As a 39 year old I can now play with my kids once again. What a great experience!
Dr. Collard was a godsend for me. I ended up suffering from an Acetabulum fracture while on the job and the doctors at the ER failed to diagnose me... By the grace of God, I found Dr. Collard and not only was he able to diagnose my injury immediately, he walked me through the entire healing process. Today, I owe my ability to walk to his care and oversight. He is a physician I highly recommend and you won't be disappointed with.
Saw Dr. Collard for 4 years for hip pain & limp. Always told me what i had could not be fixed with surgery. Just wanted to give me cortisone injections. For two years I complained how it was also affecting my knee & back. "Let me give you a shot." He hadn't taken an x-ray for 2 years & admitted it when I saw him in Dec. Sent me to therapy. After 8 therapy sessions pain level was exactly the same. Wanted to give me another shot. Fed up! Saw another Doc, had surgery, feel wonderful!
Dr Collard did my left knee replacement in 2016. Never having any surgeries, I was very comfortable with Dr Collard at my first office visit, as well as his office staff. Surgery went well. Recovery and physical therapy went well! After only a few months, I knew I would return to Dr Collard for right knee replacement, which I had in Feb. of this year, 2017. Surgery, recovery, physical therapy went well once again! No more knee pain. I'm forever grateful to Dr Matthew Collard!
