I enjoyed my experience buying both glasses and contacts at Cohen's. I got a coupon from their online website for a $29.00 eye examine, which I found to be cheap. I scheduled the appointment online. The whole scheduling process was easy and convenient. I took a trip down the Green line, arrived early by accident, stopped at Chacarero's for lunch, see my other review, and arrived at Cohen's for my appointment. I highly recommend this store. I have been going there for two years and have received consistently friendly and professional service, at reasonable rates. The store is conveniently located in downtown Boston. You can easily make an appointment, sometimes for the same date, and walk-ins are welcome as well.

I had a great experience at this office. Had an eye exam last week and Dr. Grace was friendly and professional with me. After the eye exam I was helped by a young lady who was also very patient and friendly. They have a very large selection of frames, and I probably tried on about 20 different pairs! I spent over an hour looking at frames, and I finally found a pair of Gucci's that I love! Overall, I am happy with the service and I will definitely be coming back here.

I love the people who work here. They not only helped me select fashionable frames and lenses at the most discounted price, but the doctors will really work with you until you are satisfied. I had a huge issue with contact lenses before I went to Cohen's. I just could never get over the fear/inability to touch my eye. Great Service & Convenience – I had a great experience with this Optical store recently. If I had only made an opinion based on some random negative reviews, I might not have found my perfect glasses. I made an appointment online easily and followed up with a phone call the day of my appointment. The Optician I spoke with was most accommodating to answer any questions and concerns and I felt it was definitely worth it, as the convenience of location and appointment options...even on Saturday....which is becoming more rare. Cohen Optical In Braintree, MA, Total Customer Disregard – I concur with Caris05's review of 09/01/09. The Manager Inga sold me a pair of Tag Heuer, eyeglasses that cost me $667.00, in April 2009. She told me there was a lifetime guarantee. Inga was very nice when I was buying, however it all changed when I kept coming in to have the glasses fixed because they were constantly loose. If you like a kick in the stomach go here – They really deserve a negative star. Don’t do any business at this store. They have NO idea what customer service is. I brought a pair of glasses in with matching clip-on sunglass. In order to save money, I wanted to just get an eye exam and a new prescription. Use the same lens shape so I can save money on the clip-ons. The woman who waited on me struggled with the clip on to get it off the sunglass. Does not respond to Better Business Bureau Complaints – purchased glasses in september -- were not to my satisfaction... promised to fix them. Went the next day. They were exactly as they were. I told them that it was unacceptable and left them there this was September 28th. I have not heard from them since. The Better Business Bureau has attempted to contact them on my behalf-- they have yet to respond. My next course of action is to go to the Atty. General's Office. DON NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
