Amazing Persian food and atmosphere! I had the lamb shank, absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, tender, and full of authentic flavor. I started with Kashk bademjoon as an appetizer, which was creamy and rich, and ended with bastani zaferooni (saffron ice cream)! Yummy! The vibe of the restaurant was also great, cozy, lively, and with wonderful local Persian music that made the experience even more enjoyable. We dined at Kookoo recently and the meal and the service was fabulous. Our group had the several appetizers, including the Kashk Bademjan and Mirza Ghasemi eggplant dishes and the Kookoo Wings with an amazing pomegranate sauce. Their saffron rice was wonderful and we had the Gigot of Lamb (Lamb Shank) and the Beef Chenjeh with a side of Khoresh Baghali beans. Everything was incredible. The owner was very helpful with our selections as was the wait staff. Highly recommend!!!
Everything came together beautifully.
Everything was delicious. We had yoghurt and beets, fries, smoked eggplant, samosas, mixed chicken and beef grill and both desserts. AMAZING and super freindly owner. Can’t recommend highly enough.
