Hidden Gem. This lake is beautiful when full, has good trails but great views of the lake
So Saturday Tyler Soltes stopped out at the lake by himself to take a few pics of his car. (He was at one of the entrances to go down to the boat launch) Within minutes a park ranger drove up to him and yelled, "just because there are no lines painted doesn't mean this isnt a road" and proceeded to rudley tell him he had to leave. He said I was just taking a picture. He said you can take a picture somewhere else. It's not like he was blocking a road where cars were trying to get by. What a jerk!! Shared from my mother. Quiet clean tranquil. Love it here. Great fishing 🎣
Great park . Fishing is good . The only problem is the rude people with dogs . While fishing Sunday I had two separate incidents where people brought their dogs within 10 feet of were I was fishing. Not that I have any more rights than them. Be respectful and move down 100 ft.
We visited for the second time this park during Halloween in the park w the kids (11, 11, 16 and 17). We all had a lot of fun. The decorations are phenomenal.
Our family went with some friends,it's always a good evening and the campers do a great job decorating,our family looks forward to it every year
