What stupid management allows fireworks near an active bald eagle nest when eaglets have not yet fledged. HDonTap video shows the terror these two young birds manifested. Fireworks need to be postponed until after fledging. Fourth of July would have been better.

Great place for boating, camping, trail walking and bird watching. We consider ourselves fortunate to live only a few minutes away.
Beautiful campsites for RV's.
We are so blessed to live by this place. We literally can see the lake from our front yard and what a beautiful and peaceful sight it is. Looking forward to kayaking this summer and taking our dogs swimming. Great place for running as well. It was also a joy to help my father-in-law with the hay rides for the campers.
Beautiful views of the Park, many places to boat, fish, and legally hunt game. And the best part ,a pair of nesting American Bald Eagles across The Sailboat launch and Marina. Friendly visitors, knowledgeable staff and Park Volunteers that will answer any questions. Only part I don’t like is when people leave their trash, and fishing lines and hooks and lures.
