For all of you who say there’s no good place in San Diego for chilaquiles...(you know who you are!) you haven’t tried Cocina 35! Literally “La Bomba” (those are my favorite ones there) and their cajeta French toast?! Mmmmmmmmm! You can Thank me later!

Presentation 7 .. I am not usually one to go to a Mexican food restaurant unless I don’t feel like cooking.. chilaquiles is a comfort Mexican breakfast I think the key is on the sauce.. my husband had rancheros.. no flavor it was sweet rather than a traditional ranchero sauce.. my dish was tocho morocho I did not see the green sauce they were dry.. food had no spice corn tamal was good .. and that is about it.. portion size good. And coffee was delicious
Great food and fast service! Public parking across the street.
On my list of top 5 breakfast restaurants. Only drawback is parking. I will uber next time. And of course since they are so good there can be a long wait. We waited an hour on Saturday at 10:30am. Food was amazing!
