I started feeling yucky with fever and chills, and I knew something wasn’t right. Chose coastal because it’s literally minutes from the school at which I teach. I was in and out of here in under 45 minutes, if that. I saw the FNP, Nick Fuglaar. He was honest, thorough, and compassionate! My new #1 choice out of the several options available in the Gonzales area!!!
Other than me being sick it was a pleasant experience. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and professional. My wait was not long at all. The nurse and the doctor were courteous, professional and answered all of my questions. The doctor did not try to order unnecessary tests which I appreciate as I’m uninsured. Also it’s only been around 4 hours and the meds are already helping a little.

Was refused service for the 2 time due to an old bill. Yes I am responsible for paying the old bill, I get that. The staff was more concerned about getting the money than what I came in for. The first time I was refused service I was having trouble breathing and having chest and was told I could not be seen because of the bill. I have insurance that allows me to be seen without a copay. Last week my son fell off monkey bars and broke his arm at 5:25pm. My wife brought him to Coastal on Hwy 44 and they ran 3 x-rays, put him in a soft cast and in less than 45 minutes he was comfortable they were done. They are the best place for us to bring ours kids.
