I am disappointed with the care my son received at this office. During our visit, the medical assistant, Christine, administered a vaccine too high on my son’s thigh. He was left with a hard lump and visible bruising afterward. This should not happen with proper technique, and it was very concerning to witness. We love Coastal Kids! Dr. Geiseler is extremely approachable, thorough, and is great at walking us through information. Our daughter got her two month shots today from nurse Christine and she went above and beyond helping her feel better and making sure we had what we needed to feed her after to help her calm down.
Waiting time is too long and setting is not kid friendly, not toys, not books, nothing kid friendly, juts 2 screens where staff put some videos in the waiting room. My appointment was at 11:15, I was in the office at 11am, the nurse called me at 11:28, to take measurements, we Waiting in the room for 30 minutes, it was very cold and my kid was bored and hungry. It is such a disappointment that I had the displeasure of experiencing the quality of service of this place. Unprofessional, disrespectful to me and my time, I feel like I've been robbed going to this place. Absolutely do NOT visit this place, you can definitely do better (this establishment being an INCREDIBLY low bar as it is).
