I had an extremely frustrating experience with Coastal Heat Pumps. My neighbors installed a heat pump through them, and it has been a nightmare ever since. The unit is excessively loud during defrost mode, far exceeding acceptable noise levels, and runs for hours at a time. We just witnessed a vehicle from this company speed through a 4-way stop sign in Saanichton. At approximately 1:45 Thursday , March 23rd. He showed no sign of slowing, no sign of checking traffic, either oncoming, or from the angles. Just sped right through, as recklessly as possible. As this area has a lot of seniors walking and driving the youngish male driving the car was very lucky he didn't kill someone. We turned at that intersection and watched him speed down Mt. Just had our heat pump installed by Coastal Heat Pumps a couple of days ago. This is the second one we've had installed (the first one was in a different residence) and once again the work was top notch. Darren did an awesome job on the installation and we're totally pleased once again! Highly recommended!
