I’ve loved every curly stylist I’ve worked with but Roxy at Coastal Curl is truly amazing! She’s not only friendly, but also incredibly skilled and experienced. I have 3C curl pattern and usually stick to the same style but recently I decided to try something new and grow my hair out. Was incredibly lucky to have my wedding hair done by Roxy. It was a very chill wedding hair session and all thanks to the trial we did ahead of time and was flexible to switch things up on the day. She made sure I had my dream curls for the wedding and they lasted all night through a very fun dance floor.
I’ve been coming to Roxy for a while now and she’s soooo amazing! She is super sweet about helping you reach YOUR hair goals and giving you the confidence to rock your hair the way you want. My apt go by so quick and I never feel unwelcome. As a hijabi it’s been so hard finding a curly hair stylist that can understand not just my hair but my religious situation. Though she can’t control other hairstylist’s schedule, she does what she can to ensure I can get my hair done in peace.
Roxy is the sweetest! All of the stylists are very kind and talented. Definitely an Oakland small business gem!
