RecommendedIt was my first time donating blood/plasma the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The girls in the room where you donate were so kind and always making sure everyone was okay or needed anything. Thank you for making the experience less tense and nervous ❤️ y’all are amazing

y’all need to stop calling me asking if I would like to donate my plasma because I’ve had COVID-19. This is the 3rd instance that I have to explain y’all refuse to take my blood because I’m gay due to FDA regulations. And they always have the audacity to tell me “well it’s not because your gay it’s because you’ve had sex with the same sex partner within the past 4 months” like do y’all even realize how insulting that sounds? Hello James, unfortunately these are not the Blood Center’s regulations. These are Federal Regulations. We must abide by them as does every blood center in the United States. We hope you understand these circumstances.
I just finished donating on the blood mobile bus in Sinton, the ladies who tended to me were awesome, they were very gentle.

They bar gay men from donating and when it's brought up they delete the comment. They can continue to do this but it doesn't change the fact that they are homophobic.
