We recently ate at the new bistro and thought the food and service was amazing! The chef even came over and talked to us. However, our experience took a turn when we got the check and found we were charged $3 for requesting the chef’s dressing on a side salad that the menu stated came with balsamic vinaigrette. I asked if we could try that dressing and the waitress simply said “sure”. She did not tell us there’d be an upcharge. The waitress was very attentive the entire time. The place is cozy and byob is a bonus. All of our dishes were wonderful but the shrimp scampi has flavor beyond compare. Chef Jimmy creates masterpieces.
First time at the Coal House and we had a great dinner! Executive Chef Jimmy Vena is a star. Chicken Murphy was an outstanding dish with an unforgettable sauce. Dining room is lovely with an open kitchen setting. Go here and you'll be happy!

Light and Fluffy Thin Crust Pepporini Pizza was excellent, staff courteous and attentive. Definitely coming back!

Ate dinner here last night. Everything was delicious!! Jimmy salad is huge. Chicken Parm and Chicken Saltimbocca were both fantastic.
