RecommendedChef Jimmy is outstanding !!!!! I’ve been a patron of the pizza side of Coal House since it’s 1st day in Point, and it’s excellent. However, the bistro side takes food, and Chef Jimmy’s talent to the next level!!!! Anyone who can create “just like Nanny” Hikidsy and Sunday dishes... and consistently, is a dream chef in my opinion!! And, he’s the most humble and gracious man !!!!! Love love love the bistro, and Jimmy !!!! See you soon!!! (Sending new friends this weekend!)
I ate dinner at coal house bistro, right behind the coal house pizza place ! Food is so good , you lick your fingers for that last bite on the plate ! Try it you won’t be disappointed!!!!

My fiancé and I had our rehearsal dinner in the Bistro last night and I cannot say enough good things. Chef Jimmy was wonderful to work with and the food was amazing. All of our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how great the food was everything came out excellent. The service was great we could not have picked a better spot for a rehearsal!
Delish. Going almost every weekend for approximately 10 weeks. Definately a thumbs up.

Went to dinner there last night with family and had a great time. Our server was great and put up with our crazy table of guests. The food I ate was delicious and the chef easily accommodated my needs. I'm vegan so he was able to give me vegan cheese on my pizzette app. There was also one option from what I could tell that I was able to eat. It was a pasta dish with portobello mushrooms.
