My wife and I hosted a reception for our son's baptism at The Coal House in Sea Girt. We had a fantastic experience. Anthony was so easy to work with in planning the menu. During the event, he and his wait staff took great care of our guests and the food was phenomenal. Tried this place off of a recommendation... Have had a bit of everything from wings, pizza (pesto and margherita), meatballs, salad (coal house), and Nutella desert pie. It's all fresh, flavorful, and well put together. Delicious food and attentive service will make you a believer! 10/10 will go again! Ps if you grew up eating Nona's cooking, you'll know coal house is all fresh, even the mozzarella - makes a difference!

I don't know what the fuss is. The pizza isn't "like it used to be". It's bland and without much flavor. The traditional tomato pie was dry, very little cheese and sauce.
We love The Coal House! We always stop in when we are in downtown Point Pleasant. Any pizza we order is fresh and delicious. My favorite is The Pesto. We especially love the Nutella Pizza for dessert bananas and strawberries. The staff is always kind and give my girls pizza dough to play with!! It's always a great time!
