My husband & I BOUGHT tickets for this Patio Cocktail Crawl on eventbrite. There were only 8 vendors & THREE vendors (Clyde's of Columbia, Cured and 18th & 21st, and The Soundry ) packed up at 7pm & stopped serving by 7:20pm! No, they did not run out of food & drinks. They simply hauled all their drinks & said they were told by the organizer to shut down at 7pm. It was very unprofessional & unacceptable considering this was an after work event for which we PAID. I've been at Clyde's many times but today I was dissapointed with the service. We waited at the indoor bar for an outdoor seating across which was to open at 5pm but didn't actually start serving drinks until 5:27. I went up to the bar and they told me that he wasn't ready he hadn't finished setting up. A bit annoying when we've been waiting a long time to sit outside. You would think they would have it ready. This is a lovely spot with a great menu. We enjoy meeting friends here.
Clyde’s is one of the longest operating restaurants in the Columbia Lake area. They have great service and food 🥘. Updated decor, very clean ,and great bar service 🍹🍸. Always a pleasure.
You won't believe what happened to my parents there tonight. My parents came visit me from out of town, I recommended this place to them, because I enjoyed Clyde's in Rockville when I lived there. Thought would be a good experience for them, but ---- they ate, paid and left to walk around the lake. Two waiters called them and singled them out in public, without explaining what happened.
