Established in the 60s, the same family still operates this local steakhouse. The signature four-inch thick, 14-ounce filet mignon established the "fine steakhouse" reputation. Other entree options include the 16-ounce New York steak, 16-ounce Prime Rib; as well as appetizers like steamer clams and Cajun mushrooms. Desserts like the macadamia nut pie will likely have to be taken home because portions are so large. The best advice, resign yourself and keep ordering. It is worth every penny and bite.

been a fan since 1976. they have always had the best steaks in town. never had a bad meal or service. A friendly, laid back, casual place. My grown up famil;y and I consider it the place to gather and enjoy.
Even though this place is small they have great food. Its hard to find good food in Anchorage. Love the steaks! If you are looking for good food, or good steaks you'll want to make reservations here. Reservations are almost a MUST, otherwise you probably won't get a table. Their mushrooms (appetizer) are decent but very filling. Have been here about 3 times and have never had any issues. Service is good to, not slow at all.
The best steak in AK – If you're looking for a great steak in a low key environment, Club Paris is the place for you. The staff is always friendly and you don't need a suit and tie to eat there. Their steaks are great. My only complaint is that it fills up fast (this is a good thing though) and it is kind of a hole in the wall looking joint with old paneling, which I can definitely overlook as long as they continue to make their steaks as excellent as they do. If you're not a meat and potatoes type of person, Club Paris may ... read more
Amazing food! – I recently ate at Club Paris and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, by far my best meal in Anchorage. The price was incredible, the only downside to this restaurant was the dark and dingy appearance. Otherwise the food was great the service was excellent, for the price, I give Club Paris 5 stars!
Disappointing – I was really looking forward to eating at Club Paris, but had a overall very disappointing experience. The waitress was nice and attentive, but for a nice restaurant she wore a t-shirt. The appetizers were delicious, the spicy zucchini and escargo were excellent. The french onion soup lacked onion flavor and the dinner salad had store bought croutons and the "house" dressing was just Kraft italian dressing. We all had different cuts of steak for dinner, and all were chewy. Not what we expected at all. Hands d... read more
Terrible Service – I was terribly disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was hoping for a wonderful meal because of Club Paris' reputation and the price of the food. What we received was nothing close to that. The first thing our party realized was that our waitress was extremely rude. Not rude for a server in a nice restaurant, rude for a person anywhere. The meal that followed was so unexceptional it was hard to believe we were paying 30 dollars for a steak. At the end of the meal I asked to see the manager.... read more
I love this restaurant and take all my friends here. – I have loved this place for the last fifteen years. It is the best. The place is always clean and when you are entertaining out of town guests, the decor always helps make interesting conversation. The service is excellent and the food superb. Have a nice dry martini.... the bartender is great.
And you thought dinner was good? – First of all Club Paris is hands down one of Anchorage's best restaurants. It is a very old and low key place in the heart of downtown. As you can see from the other reviews they have some of the best steaks in town, but I want to talk about lunch. Club Paris has a terrific lunch menu at one of the most reasonable prices, for around $8-$10 you can get a big cheeseburger and some really good french fries, thats cheap! Or you could spend that same amount at Carl's Jr. and never know what a re... read more
This is where Anchorage goes for steak – Steakhouse food - love it or hate it, you can't deny it. I think we all know what the genre represents. This is Anchorage's official steakhouse - hands down. If you ask a true Alaskan where to get a steak meal in Anchorage, this is the answer you will get. A little funky, looks a little seedy - but this is Anchorage, right? If Spenard earned a first-class upgrade, this would be there capital. Superb meat (truly) and all those terrible coronary artery clogging sides you can imagine (an... read more
