Will not be returning here. Multiple items had tags, are current, and a few are still for sale on the NY&C website right now and they passed on every single item. Definitely not worth a 2nd try. Have gone to Henrietta dozens of times and have always had a great experience so that’s where I’ll be going from now on.
I sent my boyfriend in with a few pairs of shoes that I bought and never wore. He was told that they wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow and since he didn’t feel like coming back, he mentioned to your employee his intention to take them to Plato’s Closet in the same plaza instead. The girl working at your store called the employees at Plato’s Closet to inform them that my boyfriend was on the way with stolen items!!!!! I cannot believe they are selling opened and used cosmetics and skincare products. And charging for makeup bags that were part of Estee Lauder's gift program. Selling used or open cosmetics is against New York State Department of Health rules!
RecommendedThe store is organized and doesn't smell like old stuff unlike other consignment stores. Kat was very friendly, especially to my 2yr old girl who also enjoyed looking at items in the store.
My public service announcement of the day.. DO NOT bring your clothes the Clothes Mentor! I had a basket FULL of name brand items, like Banana Republic, LulaRoe, Michael Kors, Guess, White House Black Market. I’d estimate minimally $1000 worth of clothing. Most were either worn once or still had the tags on. THEY OFFERED ME $77!!! What a scam!
