I had a gastric sleeve performed by Dr. Black on 5/9/17 and it was a great experience. I love Dr. Black and his staff but the surgery itself was okay also and I've had a lot of surgeries. Dr. Black explained everything in detail as far as the surgery itself and aftercare and took care of all the pain and symptoms that went along with having surgery. Dr. Black is very knowledgeable and pleasant and takes as much time as needed with you. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Black is the best! I have had three different surgeries from him and all have come out fine. I trust Dr Black on any surgery that He can do. He is very soft spoken, Great bed side manner. Use him, you want be sorry. I saw here some person rated him a one star. This person did not leave their name. Well that tell me something!!! Dr Black is outstanding! Very thorough and caring. Was recommended by a friend who was his patient. He did my surgery for heartburn and obesity. No pain after surgery! Doing great. I could not find another surgeon who could fix both my problems and my private pay cost was lower by thousands of dollars ! Well worth my trip from Atlanta. They are a center of excellence for weight loss surgery. Stringfellow hospital was unbelievable, great care and friendly nurses.
Dr Black is very impressive. West Point graduate and top of his class at Emory Med school. He is very direct and honest. He does a great job and cares about his patients. My family all use him and wouldn't think of using anyone else. There is a reason so many patients come to him from great distances. Office staff are caring and helpful.
Excellent care at Stringfellow and I'm very pleased with the results of my esophageal hernia repair along with correcting the problem of acid reflux. Dr. Black is an amazing surgeon. Thank you for giving back my ability to enjoy eating again
I was operated on by Dr Black on an emergency basis and afterward was told what was wrong. My condition did not change after the surgery which required an addition emergency surgery a week later because of complications of the first and that only fixed the problems of the first surgery. I was still left with my original condition 2 surgeries later finally going to a specialist to fix my original condition.
