I've had a problem with heartburn and reflux for so many years. I had a hiatal hernia but could not find someone in my area to fix it. I was taking double strength Nexium every day for years and still had heartburn and reflux. I was miserable. Had a friend that Dr. Black fixed his hiatal hernia so I went to see him. Within 2 weeks time I had surgery and have not taken a single medication since the surgery and have not had the first sign of heartburn or reflux since. Dr.Black eliminated 30 years of severe heart burn and stomach pain along with the meds to hep ease these issues. He performed the Nissen fundoplication procedure. From my first visit to day of my operation it took all of 1 1/2 weeks. He's very upfront and pulls no punches. Makes it clear it's best to follow directions so there's no issues. Everything went perfect, and I listened! Best surgeon I know of on this side of the country.
I had gastric bypass years ago with another surgeon and had regained a lot of my previous weight. By the time I approached Dr Black for a revision, I had also developed severe gastric reflux. I knew there would be a considerable risk involved when having multiple surgeries, especially a revision but armed with knowledge and trust for the surgical team, I proceeded. BLACK AND HIS TEAM IS WONDERFUL I HAD TO HAVE A REVISION OF MY GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY FROM WHAT THE FIRST SURGEON DOCTORS MESSED UP INSIDE OF ME AND DOCTOR BLACK WENT INSIDE OF ME AND REPAIRED MY PROBLEM I HAD TO HAVE A GASTRIC SLEEVE DID TO FIX IT AND OF COURSE DOCTOR BLACK WILL FUSS AT YOU WHEN YOU'RE NOT DOING WHAT'S RIGHT I JUST LOVE HIM AND HIS STAFF AND HIS TEAM OF DOCTORS
Lied to, scammers, racism, unprofessional. I would go anywhere except. Dr. Clifford Black, his staff is very unintelligent.
Had hiatal hernia repair with partial Nissen's couple years ago done by Dr. Black and his team. I am doing fantastic. No more reflux. Larger lung volume. I can burp and vomit without problems. It took about 6 months post op to get to normal which was expected. Medical treatment was not working. Wish I had it done years ago. Dr. Black took great care of me.

I have had gastric problems for many years. Dr Black has taken care of these problems very swiftly. The last problem was caused from my diabetes. My stomach quit digesting food correctly. Dr. Black recommended gastric bypass to correct it. I was told it may also help with ridding me of many medicines that I have to take. It did! I feel better than I have in many years. Thanks to Dr. Black, Darla and the rest of the wonderful staff! Your all amazing!
Dr. Black is wonderful! He performed a revision to my gastric bypass which was originally completed by a different surgeon many years ago. He was very thorough and knowledgeable about what I needed and made me feel comfortable with the revision surgery. He answered all my questions and was not rushed. I highly recommend him... Especially if you are seeking a gastric bypass revision.
