Do not trust that the Neurology Dept will follow up or give you any answers! In June 2024, my Mom was referred to them by her neurologist. They did a bunch of tests. They had us return for appointments and assured us that when the results came back, they would call. Not only have they not called, but they have disregarded numerous requests to send records to her neurologist and her general practitioner. I’m on a heart transplant list with an LVAD IN MY HEART the attention there is excellent not to mention Drs. I do not have any complaints or issues at Cleveland Clinic.My compliments to the doctors and staff!
I cannot express the heartbreak the Cleveland Clinic Neurology Department has caused me. We have flown twice from WA State to Weston Florida spending everything we have for the hope of a diagnosis and treatment. The original appointment, I thought, went well. The doctor ordered a lot of tests. Some that could not be performed until December, requiring us to make a second trip for the diagnosis. They have a gatekeeper named Emily who refused to connect me with my doctor for a return call. I have a pertinent condition and she just hung up on me after waiting for 10 minutes. If this is the actions of the administrators of this clinic, it is not in my interest to ever go there again.
